The seventeenth edition of the National Seminar on Science Parks and Business Incubators, promoted by ANPROTEC, in partnership with SEBRAE and supported by the Ministry for Science and Technology of the Ministry of Development, Trade and Industry, CNPq, FINEP and CNI/IEL, will take place from 17th to 21st September 2007, in Belo Horizonte – MG, and will be organized by the Rede Mineira de Inovação (Minas Gerais Innovation Network). The selection of technical articles – the Call for Papers 2007 (file attached), opened until April 23, 2007, invites all those interested in the themes: Company incubators, technology parks, entrepreneurial culture and innovation system, to present their work. The authors of the selected papers, in addition to competing for awards, will have their papers published in the event annals, and in a specific publication (livro de Boas Práticas 2007 – Book of Good Practices 2007). The event has got a wide and diversified format that includes activities of training, actualization, trends debates, results presentation and technological-scientific production. It intends to present and argue about guidelines, strategies and actions that promote a higher level of growth of the incubator initiative in Brazil and particularly in Minas Gerais State.
