The international experience in the development of the venture capital industry and its role in fostering R&D projects will be evaluated, in order to recognize the conditions needed to implement such an industry and the difficulties that a country like Chile would have to face in this direction.

It is expected the participation of Chilean and Latin-American executives and professionals involved in the strategic financial decisions, angel investors’ net, policy makers who are concerned with the innovation and the capital market, technological centers and universities devoted to R&D.
