Latin-American Summit of Innovative Practices on Work and Rent Management Programs

It is organized by the Technology Incubator of Popular Cooperatives ITCP/COPPE/UFRJ and the Program “Knowledge Infrastructure with and among Counterparts” (KIC) of Oxfam Novib.

The objective is to share and systematize information about innovative actions performed by institutions and organisms which develop Work and Rent Management works. The event is based upon seven theme axis:

  • Fostering genre equity in popular ventures;
  • Using Information and Communication Technologies as tools in programs of employment and rent creation;
  • Monitoring systems and indicators;
  • Popular ventures and access to credit and markets;
  • Corporative social responsibility as a strategy for inclusion of popular ventures in the productive chain.
  • Public policies and legislation that support the popular ventures;
  • Cooperation networks.

To be under consideration to participate in the event, the institutions and organisms must fill in a formulary (available at www.itcp.eopen.com.br/form.php) in orther to let their practices to be evaluated until June 17, 2007. The Organization Comitee, which is selected from the Technology Incubator of Popular Cooperatives, will select the most innovative practices to take part in the event; the result will be communicated via e-mail, and it will also be published on the portal www.itcp.eopen.com.br/form.php, in the “Noticias” section.
