IASP World Conference on Science & Technology Parks 2008

A conference on "The role of science parks in accelerating knowledge economy growth – contrasts between emerging and more developed economies" will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 14 to 17 September, 2008

The International Association of Science Parks [IASP] is the worldwide network of Science and Technology Parks. The Association connects Science Park professionals from across the globe and provides services that drive growth and effectiveness for its members.

In Johannesburg, the main objective of the conference will be to promote an understanding of the 'how and why' of implementing, sustaining, and growing science & technology parks. Presentations will include best practices and impact data. In turn this will all contribute to furthering regional interest in science & technology park models, and to raise political and public awareness of the role of science & technology parks in the economy.

Please visit www.iapsa2008.com for more details about the conference program and practical arrangements.
