IndiaCo is a financial services company listed on the Bombay stock exchange that provides capital (investment), direction and operational expertise in distinct asset classes for select identified industry verticals.
IndiaCo Ventures Limited will re-launch IndiaNano under the newly created Venturing Group of IndiaCo Ventures Limited. The Venturing Group is a cohesive and integral part of IndiaCo Ventures Limited and primarily is a mechanism to assist "Venture Creation" and aid "technology transfer" with an aim to catalyze public-private partnerships to create commercially viable technology enterprises. This group, which now consist of IndiaCo's Incubation and technology business has been supported by InfoDev (a world Bank Initiative). The Venturing Group is led by Praveena Chandra, a graduate from the Universtiy of Massachusetts, Lowell who holds a chemical engineering degree with a specialization in material science.
The main purpose to re-launch Indianano was to reaffirm IndiaCo's commitment towards innovation and Technology. Under this initiative IndiaCo will continue to build resource pool to assist new material innovation, and to bring building blocks for innovation to the manufacturing industry, environmentally friendly energy sources i.e. Fuel cells, carbon Nano and new Nano materials."Innovation Acceleration" (IndiaNano) is designed to bridge the gap between invention and commercial reality, by providing pragmatic support for technology entrepreneurs in the areas of Operations, Intellectual Property Management, Business development and Technology Transfer so as to create ventures that could compete in global markets.
