Web Management System for Measuring Incubator Performance (Web-ADI), by Minas Gerais Incubators Network, Brazil

Portuguese Version

Web-ADI.pdf

Web-ADI is an information management system which elaborates various indicators related to an incubator and its incubated businesses, so as to provide information for strategic decision making. The tool’s main objective is to help the Innovation Mining Network and its supporting organizations, in the systematic accompaniment of incubators and their clients, through relevant information supplied by their managers.

WEB-ADI is tool to collect and analyze data from the incubation system in Minas Gerais and has been used as a real information monitor of new support activities.

Also, it provided incubators with a tool which collects objective data and benchmark information to enhance the management and development of most incubators in the Minas Gerais State.

The tool tries to evaluate incubators performance by collecting information periodically. This tool needs a cooperative attitude from the incubator manager. The data is used to elaborate indicators related with performance and results.

The attachment includes:

  • Description of indicators and how to calculate them
  • Platform user guide.

This seems to be a successful tool which was adopted by all RMI, its associated incubators and support agencies.
