The main purpose of the event will be to promote technological innovation in organizations nationwide. It will be the first such event in Perú, and it will seek to encourage social and economic development in the country; the event will count with the presence of renowned national and international experts.
The National Innovation Week INNOTEC PERU 2009 (Semana Nacional de la Innovación) is a public-private initiative in which the Public, Private and Academic sectors share their efforts to promote an innovative and creative culture, towards the improvement of the country’s living standards. The main objectives of the event will be: to identify and acknowledge successful experiences in technological innovation in Peru, to interact and strengthen bonds with Nation and Worldwide renowned experts in technological innovation, to promote innovation as a tool to economic and social development, to acknowledge the innovative spirit in young people in Peru, and to promote and strengthen an innovative culture and entrepreneurial spirit among young people. Moreover, in the context of Concurso Nacional de Prototipos Innovadores e Innovaciones Tecnológicas (the National Contest in Innovative Prototypes and Technological Innovations), SINACYT National Award will be awarded to successfull experiences in technological innovation.
