The Forum’s purpose is to gather leading entrepreneurs and business executives, academics and government officers from the Americas, who understand that innovation and value added through knowledge are key factors for development.
The FIA 2009, a follow up of the Americas Competitiveness Forum (ACF) held in June 2007 in Atlanta, will take place at the Radisson Montevideo hotel, on May 24, 25 and 26. Around 1,000 attendees from all the Americas are expected to participate, and confirmation of attendance has already been received from several renowned referents, such as Mr Sergio Machado Rezende (Brazilian Government Minister of Science and Technology), and Mr. Orlando Ayala (Microsoft’s Senior Vice President of the Emerging Markets Group).
The Forum attempts to promote prosperity and development through innovation.
