The National Forum of Incubators and Technology Parks sponsored by the Paulista Incubator Network (Rede Paulista de Incubadoras-RPI), will congregate incubators and technology parks in order to facilitate their connection with the market. Its main objectives are:
- To facilitate linkage between incubated companies and corporate market, promote business association, increase sales and distribution channels
- To become a reference point for investors
- To generate exchange of information between incubated businesses in order to promote technology negotiations of mutual interest
- To emphasize the importance of incubators and parks supporting technological innovation, promoting employment and increasing income.
In conclusion, the forum main objective is to introduce businesses to a highly qualified audience that is able to generate trades and provide representation, capital investment and new technologies, strengthening companies in their incubation period. Because it is essentially a business meeting, you must be over 16 years old to be admitted into de forum.
PARTICIPATING IN THE FORUM:
The exhibitor public will mainly consist of incubators, incubated enterprises, technological parks and halls that house entities related to the field. The forum is available for other enterprises as well, as long as they have products and/or services related, directly or indirectly, to any incubated enterprise. Interested exhibitors should make a reservation for their stands or spaces with enough anticipation.
The exhibition pavilion of the Parque Tecnologico de São José dos Campos is 6000 m2 and the forum floor will hold up to 4000 m2 as exhibition area. The Forum Organization will attend reservation requests in chronological order, just until the 4000 m2 area reserved for stands is complete. It is estimated that almost 60% of the forum will be sectorized (Agribusiness, Biotechnology, Social Actions, Food and Beverages, Management Software, etc.) looking for the facilitation of contacts and business.
The forum floor will be available as early as December 2009 PARALLEL EVENTS AND PARTNERSHIPS: A Business Round has already been programmed (provided that the product or service meets the needs of the applicant), promoted by CIESP/FIESP and having as confirmed companies: Kodak, Erickson, Embraer, General Motors, Johnson and Johnson, Eaton, Nestlé, Viapol and TI Automotive, among others. Those enterprises that expose at the forum shall have preference for the participation at the Round. Through the establishment of partnerships with enterprises coming from different sectors, and after the mapping of exhibitors, the possibility of business meetings will be evaluated, making it possible for those incubated enterprises that take part at the forum, to have an additional facility for making new business.
INVESTMENT:
The Board of RPI, after numerous negotiations, managed to make the value of the m2 for the forum extremely tempting. For incubators and technology parks, as well as municipalities and departments of development, the value of the m2 for a stand with basic equipment is R$ 220.00. The smallest stand available, for all cases, except those in the sectorized area is 15 m2 (5 m of front), which also includes basic assembly of partitions, carpeted floor, headpiece with the exhibitor`s name, a switch plug, outlet, four spotlights and a table with four chairs. In the sectorized area, which is of restricted use of incubated companies, the smallest dimension is 5 m, and the expansion will be given through its multiples (10 m2, 15 m2, etc...).
The value of the area is also R$ 220.00. The incubators and parks that for any reason cannot have their incubated in the sectorized area may reserve their stands in the incubators and parks sector. Thus, if convenient, they may have their incubated in the sectorized area, participating in this way in two sectors of the forum. For companies in general, the value of m2 with a stand with basic equipment is R$ 350.00. Only 300 m2 will be available for this category. A reservation can be made but the plan of the location will only be available in December 2009.
INFORMATION AND STAND RESERVATIONS:
RPI has hired a team of professionals with experience on the organization of more than 50 corporate events. These professionals form part of Nucleo Eventos, which also managed the Incubator Forum of Sao Paulo State that took place in September 2008.
