Crows Animation Studio is a start-up company that is principally devoted to developing and producing world-class quality 3D animated television series and feature films. We provide culturally appropriate and socially responsible entertainment for the family through our animation.

The primary challenge in this sector is assembling a team of professionals who has the capacity to create high quality 3D animation movies, programs, shorts and television series. To date, we have succeeded in assembling a highly talented team of 3D animation design professionals to form the core of our company, Crows Animation Studio.

Supported by the ICT Incubator – Syrian Computer Society (ICTI), the company was formed by Mr. Amer Abdulghani as a Sole Proprietorship in Damascus-Syria In August 2007. The ICTI has helped us the moment we were accepted; We have been provided with a starting company's infrastructure such as a place in the centre of the capital, Damascus, hardware and software equipments and business consultations presented by experts, not to mention the important business relations we gained from the Incubator's business connections and its participation in local and international exhibitions and conferences.

Owned by Mr. Amer Abdulghani and operated by Mr. Wasseym and Nasser Abdulghani, Crows Animation has begun a production of 140-minute long 3D animated TV series for a major television channel in the Arab world on 2009. This first project is not about making millions, it's rather a showcase of Arabian talent. It's also about seeking opportunities for us to break through into the global animation market.

As part of the company's primary objective, which is to maximize the power of 3D animation in many aspects of today's businesses and life, Crows Animation has started many 3D animation research and development projects to strengthen and drive excellence in its business.

One of our main projects is to maximize the potential of 3D in Flash in order to come up with creative 3D interactive websites. Many attempts, since the born of the internet, have been made to create the illusion of 3D on the web but none prevailed except some methods which made it possible to create powerful real-time 3D interactive websites. Such methods are not considered as the best solution since it's narrowly available only for programmers and game developers, in addition to the high cost of requesting such kind of 3D on the web.

However, the increasing demand for 3D on the internet has led us to the best ever solution which is about to bridge the gap between demand and supply for 3D interactive websites like never done before. This best solution consists of creating and developing a new tool (real-time 3D website builder) which makes it easy and possible to everyone to create and build his own real-time 3D interactive website without technical skills, knowledge of game developing or any other website development languages.

The first year of operations has been funded by the founders themselves who brought significant funds to their start up from their own resources and it took the company almost two years to become self-sustainable.
Crows Animation targets film and television production companies and networks in the Arab region, with special focus on the international market which we plan to break through within the next three years.
We understand that the animation industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the international economy, however it is still youthful and in its early stages in the Arab region. The general economic orientation in the region towards the animation business is very strong, and in general on the rise.

The current lack of leaders in the animation industry represents an exceptional opportunity for Crows Animation to develop dominant presence in the animation industry in the Arab region.  With our exceptional knowledge of the animation industry, strong client base with their demand for socially responsible and culturally appropriate content for the Arab world, and competitive prices, the company will be well situated to take advantage of the region's current economic prosperity.

Finally, with an experience that stretches over three years we think we've learned enough lessons that we would like to share with fellow entrepreneurs and those newcomers to the animation industry: "Businesswise, there are no guarantees, there is simply no way to eliminate all the risks associated with starting your own business. Don't panic and cheer up, everyone has a chance to succeed and you can improve your chances with well planning, determination and insight."
