I am very glad to inform you that the Indian Incubation Conference ISBA 2010 is round the corner on 8th to 10th February 2010 at New Delhi, India. ISBA is very glad to invite assocications and national representative bodies of Incubators to this conference as observers and special guests. ISBA Conference 2009 has been a great success interms of international particpation and appreciated by many of you who have been kind of enough to be with us.
 
There is so much in common in the incubation fraternity that we can hardly miss this opportunity to share new ideas, concerns and even our anxieties about future. So, on behalf of ISBA, as its Chairman, and jointly with Dr Rajendra Jgadale, the General Secretary of ISBA and Mr Arindham Dutta, Vice Chairman, ISBA, I am glad to invite you again for this great conference, ISBA 2010. We can, as a gesture from a concerend host, shall foot the stay and food expenses for fellow incubation national representatives during the conference days. Your early kind confirmation shall be very useful in  helping you to have a comfortable stay. Let me take this opportunity to extend my warm season’s greetings and a very happy and fruitful year 2010. This will be a grand year for the Indian Incubation community. As you are aware ISBA 2010 is round the corner and we all need to be geared up for the grand show on 8th to 10th February 2010 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
 
On behalf of President, Vice President let me take this opportunity to invite you and all your incubatee companies for this great annual event which we all look forward to. The ISBA 2010 is going to be a truly National event that is designed to give maximum networking opportunities to incubator manager and incubatee companies with their Indian counterparts.

ISBA 2010 event is unique in many ways:
 

• a.  This year’s theme Innovation through Incubation-way forward for sustained inclusive growth which is unique and that signifies a crucial role in achieving inclusive growth that addresses technology and service issues of masses.
• b.  For the first time, a large scale expo which is been titled as R@W 2010 i.e. “Research at Work”. This exhibition will showcase yeomen service that our incubator and incubatee companies have done by bringing new technologies to the market for the service of the nation. This will be a major event for building linkages between incubatee companies spread across India.
• c.   We have planned an event: YESSS – Young Entrepreneur’s Start-ups in Soaring Spirits. This will be a unique event wherein our incubatee companies those are seeking investment, looking for merger or want to get acquired will be able to give presentations to the potential investors. Several investors, Venture Capitalists, Angel, Private Equity have shown interest.
• d.  InterlinX- ISBA 2010 will also be unique by way of providing before, during and after the event a networking tool that will make our companies presence during conference more meaningful. This web based tool will allow our companies to pre-decide business meetings with potential stake holders like investors, technology providers, mentors and business partners etc. The conference organizers will provide support for actually conducting such pre-decided B2B meetings during the conference.
• e.  As you are aware for the first time ISBA as an organization is hosting this conference directly, this is a task by itself since there is no formal host STEP/TBI.
• f.    You are requested to make an appeal to invite on behalf of ISBA maximum number of incubatee companies to participate. The details of the event have been enclosed. ISBA seeks your participation in both conference and also the exhibition.

 
May I also make an appeal that your STEP/TBI/EDC/STED etc and the incubatee companies generously contribute and provide financial support to this event? Our estimated expenses to host this event in Delhi are about 50 Lakhs, which we hope to raise through the generous contribution from our members and incubatee companies.
