CREA•ME is a private not-for-profit organization founded in 1996 by 29 important institutions from the private sector, public sector and the academia.
Creame employs 63 professionals and has an extensive consultants’ network at the national and international level.
CREA•ME is led by the Executive Director and has a Planning and Corporate Development Department to which five (5) Specialized Consulting Service Centers report as well as twelve (12) Enterprise Creation Nodes, which are focused in different knowledge areas. This allows Creame to have a regional, national and international coverage in terms of incubation projects as well as enterprise development projects.
During 2009, CREA•ME was consolidated as the First Enterprise Services Integral Center in the country and Latin America, with national coverage by the enterprise development nodes strategy, operation supported in the Specialized Services Centers.

CREA•ME implements important programs that support entrepreneurial culture (rural and urban) such as:
Cultura E, sponsored by the City of Medellín. It has received 2.682 business plans, 239 of them have received awards in specialized clusters.
Nuestra Tienda (“Our Store”): The program “electronic shops” aims at strengthening the market position of the small business in the low income neighborhoods. This project trained 400 businesses, of which 90 are now selling more than 300 products in Nuestra Tienda..
“EXPORTE” program: CREA•ME is the national coordinator for the Exporte program, in Alliance with Colciencias, Proexport, the SENA and the Minister for Commerce, Industry and Tourism. 258 Colombian companies benefit from the program in its third edition in order to develop their product and services export.
Bioderivados: the project is an alliance between the public, private and academic sector, to develop biofuel production alternatives, based on the use of oily plants.
Autentica (Authentic) Moravia Entrepreneurs project: a project of solidarity business in the neighborhood of Moravia. The project supported 315 families and 5 business groups (3 in start-up and 4 in strengthening).
REIC (Network of Colombian Independent Editors): CREA•ME strengthened their management and administrative organization and build their web site (www.reic-colombia.com).
In partnership with the Ministry of Culture, CREA•ME also supported 9 Dance Projects in the city of Medellin, Bogotá, Cali, Sincelejo, Armenia, Neiva, Tolima and Villavicencio, to help them in their business plan and to find alternative financial resources.
CREA•ME cooperated with the Mayorship of Medellin in the participative budget program in 3 areas of the city, training 50 young people, building 20 business plans and implementing 11 productive units.
In partnership with the Entrepreneurship Park (ParqueE), CREA•ME helped the winners of the NERI competition (NERI: New companies based on the results of investigation) to develop their business.
Alianza Future Digital Medellin (Digital Future Alliance in Medellin): in 2008, Creame helped 2,050 students to develop new software, as an alternative between formal education and entrepreneurship, bringing a better educative service in the city.
In 14 years of experience, CREA•ME participated in the building of 25 incubation and business development systems in eight (8) countries in Latin-America.
At the national level, CREA•ME has participated in the design and operation of 17 new business incubators throughout the country. CREA•ME transferred its operative model to la Guajira, San Andrés, Cesar and Bogotá through the Gestando Node.
At the international level, CREA•M has participated in the following projects:
Creation and implementation of Ecuador’s National Incubation System co-financed by the World Bank and the Ministry of Industrialization, Commercialization, Fishing and Competitiveness (MICIP) of Ecuador. This project implemented incubators in Quito, Guayaquil and Loja.
Developed an operation model for the Technologic Accelerator in Panamá, which is operated by the City of Knowledge.
Implementation of two incubators in Peru (Lima and Piura) with support from Germany’s GTZ.
Developed feasibility studies for the implementation of incubators in Guatemala and Honduras.
Transferred the incubation model to Bolivia and Venezuela with financing from the CAF (Corporación Andina de Fomento).
In 2008, Creame transferred its incubation model to El Salvador, with the Entrepreneurship Foundation for the Educative Development FEPADE.
