Objectives	Profitable Enterprises
Description	Villgro(formerly Rural Innovations Network), visions of a prosperous rural India, created through innovation and enterprise. To achieve this vision, Villgro's mission is to enable innovations to reach rural markets and impact the rural poor. Over the last 8 years, its work has directly impacted around 3 lakh households and connected with over 1500 innovators, generated sales of Rs. 620 lakh and created consumer surplus worth Rs. 1920 lakh. Villgro offers funding, recognition, mentoring, networking and marketing services to innovators. Villgro is now a 50 staff strong organization with an annual budget of Rs. 500 lakh and comprising of 7 programmes.
Interests	Villgro's uniqueness lies in offering a comprehensive package of solutions which help innovative ideas reach the market. Through its 7 programmes - LRAMP, Innovator to Entreprneuer, Samruddhi, Talent Development, User Centered Innovation development, Innocentive challenges and Knowledge Management, Villgro has spawned and continues to fuel a nationwide movement that envisions a prosperous rural India. Villgro believes that its model can be replicated throughout Asia and other regions and hence would be interested in partnership opportunities with other sin the network who believe in this cause.
