ECITI established and registered as a Non Profit Organization: Is an innovative Agency that promotes the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to effect positive social change, socio-economic development, employment creation and poverty eradication through the provision of support, mentorship and infrastructure to emerging enterprises and promoting entrepreneurship in the Eastern Cape.
ECITI facilitates Provincial economic growth and employment and promote women and youth entrepreneurship in ICT and Film sectors:
• Transform ICT start-up companies into successful business ventures through its business incubation programmes.
• Enhancing the profitability and performance of emerging SMMEs and reducing the number of SMME failures through entrepreneurial and business capacity building interventions (e.g. mentorship and coaching)
• Fostering entrepreneurship and sustainable growth within ICT SMMEs in the incubator
• Promote and facilitate ICT innovation and technology transfer
• Leverage industry, government and academic institutions to support the development and retention of ICT skills in the Eastern Cape
