Dear iDISC community,

Did you know that there have been over 2200 visits from over 140 countries to the iDISC site in the past month? This newsletter reaches a broad range of incubation practitioners and policymakers. iDISC highlights are also featured on the infoDev site, where the newsletter goes out to over 13,000 subscribers.

Find out interesting network statistics about the global network of business incubators, on a new, live iDISC feature Network Snapshots at /en/Statistics.html! Make sure to keep your profile updated, in this way we can present an accurate picture of our network and the impact of incubation to our global audience.

As a new way to highlight our network members, we will start featuring the "Incubator of the Month" on iDISC. The incubator will be picked randomly, so make sure you have an updated profile in case your incubator is chosen! Please notice that you can also add your incubator logo now.

As for other network-related activities, check the two calls for proposals below for both the Development Marketplace (DM) 2008 Global Competition on Sustainable Agriculture, as well as the GARNET workshop in Sofia. We encourage you to take a look at these postings! For the DM2008 Competition, you could win an implementation grant of up to $200,000 to support your activities!

Keep checking the iDISC events calendar for exciting events and networking opportunities this year!

Wishing you every success in 2008,
the infoDev team
