Seth Ayers

Seth Ayers leads infoDev's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, which includes a global network of business incubators that has supported over 20,000 innovative small enterprises and created more than 200,000 jobs in over 80 developing countries.  In addition, he is responsible for the Program’s work on Climate Technology, which focuses on the development and deployment of clean technologies, and its analytical agenda, including work on technology parks, IT-enabled services and access to early-stage financing

Prior to infoDev, he worked with the World Bank's ICT Policy Division, and was involved in ICT sector reform projects in Africa and the Caribbean.  Before joining the World Bank, he was Standards Program Manager for IDEMA, a non-profit international trade organization that represents the USD $35 billion disk drive industry and consists of more than 400 corporate and individual members worldwide.  Mr. Ayers holds an MBA in International Business and an MA in International Trade and Investment Policy from George Washington University.
